The 8th IEEE Workshop on Spoken Language Technology (SLT) will be held on January 19-22, 2021. The SLT Workshop is a biennial flagship event of IEEE Speech and Language Processing Technical Committee. The theme for this year will be "Spoken language technologies: deep learning and beyond". The workshop will feature the most recent and exciting advances in speech and language processing through invited talks and keynotes, as well as special and regular sessions. The SLT 2021 registration fees are drastically reduced, reflecting our move to being virtual. There will be two types of registrations for the virtual conference.

Author Registration: Each accepted paper must be covered by at least one full member/non-member registration by December 11, 2020, and one registration can cover up to four papers.

Non-Author Registration: The fees charged will allow full access to the virtual conference and all sessions, virtual patron and exhibitor experiences, as well as any live and asynchronous discussion forums, and an electronic download of the conference proceedings. Non-Author Registration remains open throughout the conference.
